gîte La Cazelle

on the Causse Noir
Less than 50 years ago, the shepherds watched over the herds of sheep.
The « cazelles » were the stone houses built by them here and there, as shelters from the strong winds.
Covered in a big green cape, they were safe !!!!
Today, there are still sheep, no more shepherds, but the ruins remain, evidence of a time gone by.
The country gîte you will discover here, was the shepherd's house.
